### The opening day of Zcash (ZEC) mining was crazy, with volatility, reward for savvy traders and, of course, a few losses along the way.

Of course, the delay in finally launching the first day of mining probably didn’t hurt as miners prepared their machines to vie for the first batches to reach the market.

For those of us who aren’t tech savvy enough to fire up our own miners, Genesis offered an opportunity to get involved.
